I AM
I came across a song the other day that I had forgotten existed.
It brought back some very vivid memories of the man I was…
And it made me burst into tears.
Like every other day of my life.
Lately the pain has been VERY hard.
It reminded me that though I don’t deserve it,
I was chosen for a higher purpose by a God
That loves and cares for me.
Not because of anything I have done or
Anyone that I am,
But rather because of who HE is.
I am:
A flower quickly fading.
A wave tossed in the ocean.
A vapor on the wind.
Here today and gone tomorrow.
Come tomorrow. Come.
